A girl from Gumla has been missing since 2018, and the Jharkhand High Court heard this case. During this hearing, the Jharkhand government informed to the court that CJM court in Gumla granted permission to conduct the narco-analysis test of the main accused in this case on 17th June and this test will be conducted in Gujarat. Also, important instructions were given to the police administration related to the test by the CJM court. The IO (Investigating Officer) also appeared during the court hearing, and the next hearing is scheduled on 9th July.
On 12th May 2026, the Jharkhand government had filed an Intervention Petition for amendment to a High Court order. The court said that the government had filed an SLP to the Supreme Court, and then what was the justification for filing an amendment to the High Court? The Court summoned three officials for their responses and dismissed the intervention petition asking for modification of the order.
