Sonam Wagchuk, due to a hunger strike for straight 21st days, was admitted to the hospital on 18th July by Delhi Police. Wangchuk moved to Safdarjung Hospital due to a weak condition and is stable now, and needs monitoring and proper treatment to restore his body parameters. The Delhi High Court ordered Sonam Wangchuk to be shifted to the hospital. Sonam Wangchuk is demanding the resignation of Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the Education Minister, because of the NEET paper leak. Sonam Wangchuk's wife said no treatment should be done without her consent. Sonam Wangchuk is recovering now, but has lost over eight kilos due to fasting and dehydration. Delhi High Court ordered to do whatever it takes to save the life of Sonam Wangchuk.
