Chairperson of Tata Sons will present a detailed strategy on the company's new venture losses with Tata Trusts Chairperson Noel Tata. This presentation will include Air India and Tata Digital discussions, as they are unprofitable till now. As these businesses have made a loss of Rs 29,000 crore this year, higher than the internal projection of Rs 5700 crore. Also, other businesses, including Croma, Tata CLiQ, Bigbasket and Tata 1mg, are also a major concern, and despite Rs 24,000 crore investments, they aren't profitable. Noel also pointed out the importance of capital discipline and said Tata Sons should not be listed. Other board members said that ventures take time to mature and show profitability.
