There is good news for all the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin beneficiaries in Jharkhand. The Central government is about to release a Rs 10,021 crore instalment to the state to complete the rural incomplete houses. With the disbursement of this amount, the construction process of incomplete houses in Jharkhand will start soon. It is estimated that 3,46,192 rural houses were targeted in Jharkhand, but only 3,45,880 houses received approval.
But due to a lack of funds, the construction of houses was stopped. Till now, only 3,16,545 beneficiaries have received the first instalment, 1,36,596 beneficiaries have received the second instalment, and only 26,500 people have received the third instalment across Jharkhand.
