India is the fastest-growing economy despite global tensions.

The growth of India for the year 2026 is expected to be 6.4 percent, which is supported by private consumption and services. IMF in its WEO (World Economic Outlook update said that India continues to maintain its position despite the slowdown in global growth.
 
World trade volume growth is expected to decrease to 3.5 percent in 2026. This decrease in growth is due to trade linkages, trade diversion, and rerouting. UK growth will decline by one percent in 2026, while Japan is expected to slow down to 0.6 percent. Growth of China will slow down to 4.6 percent in 2026, and a 2.6 percent slowdown is expected to be seen in the US. Saudi Arabia is estimated to grow at 1.7 percent, and global inflation is estimated to stop at a steady decline, according to the IMF. The IMF expects inflation targets to be met by the end of 2027 in Japan and the US, and by mid-2027 in the UK.
