Ranchi- No phone numbers were used for the withdrawal of Rs 2.70 crore from the Bokaro Treasury. This is the withdrawal of the fake salary investigation case. A phone number is mandatory for salary withdrawal on the Kuber website. From November 2017 to December 2025, 51 transactions totaling Rs 2.71 crore were withdrawn from the bank account (10854154749) at the Bokaro Treasury. In all the transactions, no phone number was used, but to carry out transactions, it is important to have a contact number.
Once the DDO login to the account, OTP comes to his phone. The portal gets generated once the OTP is verified. Without this process, no transaction or money withdrawals can occur.
There are a total of 271 transactions done of Rs 15.71 crore from the treasury. 13.28 crore were withdrawn using these four mobile numbers: 7878787878, 9431772569, 9431706419. 220 transactions were done using these mobile numbers. 7543915302 phone number belongs to Pandey, found the details as per investigation and 9431709419 belongs to Sankalp during the investigation. Total 2890 employees PAN numbers of a total of 2,890 employees were changed as per the investigation. The DDO code was written as DDOCODE. As per the law, having a second PAN Card is illegal.
