Tata Sons has two trusts, SRTT and SDTT, under its name. The meeting is postponed to 16th May due to legal problems. The review meeting for the representation of trust on Tata Sons was planned on 8th May. In the last minute, the meeting was cancelled and is now planned for 16th May.
The purpose of the board meeting was to discuss Vijay Singh's non-renewal as vice chairman and to discuss the complaint to the charity commissioner on the trustees matter. Also, the recent statements of two vice chairmen, Srinivasan and Singh, are the reason for the internal meeting.
