Air India is planning to cut expenses and reduce flights because of the Iran-US war. Officials said these measures are planned due to the unprofitable airline's search for a new leader to deal with the tough economic toughs.
In a board meeting of Air India, officials discussed flight cuts, capacity by more than 20 percent for the next quarter till the situation is under control, and said the discussions are private.
Air India board meeting also discussed in the meeting that paying out lower bonuses for the entire workforce and cost cuts for those at the management level and above.
