In a recent tweet, Zoho founder Vembu says that the company won't expand its work-from-home policy because the problem-solving research and development team affects their productivity levels. He said that working face-to-face solves development problems faster compared to working from home. He said his own team takes a lot of time to solve problems if they work from home. Even after PM Modi's appeal to Indians and companies to opt for work-from-home to reduce fuel consumption, Zoho stands firm that they won't opt for a work-from-home policy. Zoho founder said that we have spent heavily on solar and are using electric vehicles and electric cookware in canteens to reduce fuel consumption.
