Kattesh Katti, born in Dharwad, is selected as Top Innovator for 2026 in the medicine field. Dr. Katti has coined a new term called Nano Ayurvedic medicine. Currently, Dr. Kattesh resides in the United States and is a director of the Green Nanotechnology Institute. He studied at JSS Science College and later finished a PhD from IISC, Bangalore. Dr Katti holds more than 300 publications, 50 patents, and 150 inventions with 30 years of experience in nanomedicine, radio-pharmaceutical, and molecular imaging.
Dr. Kattesh, with his wife Dr. Kavita, integrated plant-based compounds with gold and silver metals to create nanoparticles. Clove acts as a natural electron source. This led to Nano Rajata Rasayana, which brings Ayurveda and Nanomedicine together. Bangalore-based company is manufacturing Dr. Katti's nano Ayurveda products that are used to treat infections and cancer.
