6 Confirmed Cases of Hantavirus in Cruise

WHO has confirmed that eight individuals have fallen sick along with three who died in a cruise ship in a hantavirus outbreak. 
 
Some of the important updates are that six people are suffering from Andes virus. There were a total 147 passengers in the cruise. Four people are hospitalized in Switzerland, South Africa and the Netherlands and one patient tested negative in Germany. The cruise was moving to the Canary Islands. The risk of spreading Hantavirus is low but the crew on the cruise have higher chances of infection.
